My travel philosophy

I have taken many trips from one part of Europe to another using only public transport (trains, buses, coaches, ferries, local drivers/taxis), and I have also gone on many European road trips with my dog. So I am living proof that Flightless travel in Europe is possible, even just for a long weekend!

But I am not going on these trips just to be kind to the Earth. I go on this trips because I believe a true holiday is a journey. If you travel through Europe the slow way, the destination becomes the Journey, and viceversa. Every moment counts, every moment gives you discoveries and memories.

I love the great European capitals, as well as the small cities that used to be great at some other time in history. I love the beautiful mountain and seaside resorts on everyone’s bucket list, although I try to visit them in low season. And I love discovering stunning locations that are not on everyone’s Instagram feed.
